One notorious word – as simple as it sounds – Athleisure! 

Fashion jargon is EVERYWHERE.

For someone like me, who either gets ready to go out or not at all, the term “athleisure” confuses me.

The image in my mind around 2021 when the term floated on Vogue
& all influencers were heavily promoting it was: Athlesuire = Gym clothes that look good enough to get coffee in without giving the impression that I just completed a workout???

I was right. Sort of.

Athleisure is a fashion trend that means athletic wear + casual clothing, and it has been growing in popularity & people’s closets.

The appeal of athleisure lies in its versatility, comfort, and style.

One of the main reasons why athleisure is so popular is that it can be worn for a variety of occasions. Whether you’re running errands, going to work, or meeting friends for brunch, you can wear athleisure and look fashionable while still feeling comfortable.
